Program Description 

The HCS CPC Self-Paced Certification Program is designed for motivated students who prefer independent learning and need flexibility to complete their education around work, family, and other responsibilities. 

Students work independently through the AAPC-approved CPC curriculum within the designated course access period. 

The Self-Paced program does not include scheduled weekly Zoom classes. Course content questions may be submitted through the designated course support email for review and response.

AAPC Practicode Virtual Internship 

HCS CPC tuition includes access to AAPC Practicode after the student successfully earns the CPC-A credential, at no additional HCS tuition charge. 

Practicode provides CPC-A students with a virtual internship experience designed to provide practical coding experience. 

Successful completion of Practicode may satisfy one year of coding experience toward removal of the CPC-A apprentice designation in accordance with current AAPC requirements.
